Terms and Conditions

Timing: The 2024 edition of the EP Decarbonization Excellence Challenge will be announced in March 2024. In the meanwhile you can start working on your application.

Project Submission: Apply in the contact form below and submit your decarbonization project details, including goals, challenges, and current status.

Review Process: Our expert panel will evaluate submissions based on their impact, innovation, and feasibility. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for further discussion.

Winner Announcement: The winning project will be announced on June 2024, and the advisory engagement will commence shortly after.

Execution: Once the conditions of the winner project are set, the advisory service will commence at winner discretion, during 2024.
By participating in the Decarbonization Excellence Challenge (the "Challenge") conducted by Energy Patagonia, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions:
1. The Challenge is open to organizations, and individuals aged 18 and above.
2. Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of Energy Patagonia are not eligible to participate.
3. All project submissions must be made through the official challenge submission portal as specified by Energy Patagonia.
4. Submissions must be original and submitted by the project owner or with their explicit consent.
5. Multiple submissions from the same entrant are allowed.
6. Winning projects will be selected by a panel of experts chosen by Energy Patagonia.
7. The decision of the panel is final and binding.
8. The prize for the winning project is a complimentary advisory service package offered by Energy Patagonia.
9. The prize includes up to 10 hours of advisory service from one senior advisor.
10. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other goods or services.
11. All travel, taxes, meals, transportation, lodging, and similar costs associated with the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
12. The advisory services provided by Energy Patagonia are limited to the scope and duration outlined in the prize.
13. Energy Patagonia does not guarantee the actual reduction of carbon emissions resulting from the advisory services.
14. Energy Patagonia is not responsible for the execution, implementation, or outcome of the decarbonization projects undertaken by the winner.
15. Energy Patagonia and its employees, contractors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the Challenge or the prize.
16. Energy Patagonia disclaims all warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the Challenge and the prize.
17. By participating in the Challenge, you grant Energy Patagonia the right to use your name, likeness, and non confidential project details for promotional and publicity purposes.
18. Energy Patagonia reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Challenge at its sole discretion, without prior notice.
19. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Delaware, USA.
20. By participating in the Challenge, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
